The Meat & Poultry Processing Awards 2016 Winners!
The Awards took place in a new venue for 2016 at Radisson Blu Edwardian, Manchester Hotel, where the best in meat processing celebrated their achievements of the last year.
These awards are designed to recognise individuals and companies in processing. All entrants this year demonstrated outstanding achievements in a range of fields, making it tougher than ever for judges to do their jobs.
The title of Processing Business of the Year was taken by Moy Park, who also scooped the accolade for Product Developer of the Year and Retailer Processor of the Year. Rod Addy, Editor of Meat Trades Journal commented "The judges had their work cut out sifting throught the entries this year, as they had a lot to chew on. In the end, Moy Park was an extremely worthy winner of the overall Processor of the Year trophy and was highlighted for several reasons including: its commitment to green goals, investment in people, formidable new product development programme and well-researched innovative ideas. This also led them to claim the Product Developer of the Year and Retail Processor of the Year awards."
